Greetings through Raindrops!
I would have said raindrops falling on my head, but I am staying safe and dry inside today! I will admit that I am loving our rain this year. We have been fortunate to have 2-3 days of sun in between each of our storms, which really helps dry Southern California. It allows our hills to soak the rain in rather than letting it sweep down the hills and cause real problems. So far we have been lucky! (Knocking on wood).
On to some cards I have been working on. I try and keep up with some challenges that are posed in a couple groups I am in, and have to admit, sometimes it is a tad difficult. Since we were working our little (?) bottoms off this past weekend to get our house back to normal after the Holidays, I had to cram a couple in yesterday. Yikes! But here they are!
The first one is a "weekly challenge". Every Friday, my upline, Connie Stewart, gives us a Weekend challenge. I hope to do more this year…

Well, being so busy last week, I didn't get to it, but finally experimented with it today. I think the next time I do this technique I will use lighter colors as the base. I found my colors to be a bit dark, but I like the way it turned out for my first attempt!
