Greetings!!!
I have to apologize for totally missing the month of August! Where the heck did it go? It is becoming way too true when they say "time flies when you are having fun!" Got a visit in with the Grandbabes and witnessed the 60% eclipse out in our local desert Borrego Springs. Yes, it was hot out there, but we watched as we drank Bloody Mary's and sat in the pool. Great time!
Let's get business out of the way. What is tomorrow???? SEPTEMBER 1st! What happens tomorrow???? The Holiday Catalog goes LIVE! Yippee!! Now all of you can order whatever you want until January 1st. If you didn't get one from me, let me know and I will gladly send one out to you! You can still see it online, but it is much nicer to touch and feel and mark up with post-its, stars, etc. Mine is almost destroyed already!!! Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer them.
Wanted to just post a few things I have been working on and I am going to post a few of the cards that my partner in this paper crafting obsession, Cathy Gillick, has done. Cathy has been an inspiration to me since 2013, and continues to amaze me daily with her creativity. It is absolutely non-stop!!!
First, my favorite Crafty Ladies! I have to say that my Holiday Card Buffet was a success and thank goodness as it was my first one! I received many, many compliments and they loved that they could get down to it and finish the cards. I am the one that isn't holding any of them in the gray, but Linda in the dark blue forgot to hold hers up! She made an Autumn and two Christmas cards.
Here are the sample cards they took their ideas from.
Our next Craft Sunday, is September 10th – oh my it is close – better get busy!!!
Here are the few that I have created…
I love the new Cat Punch! Can you tell???
As I said before, I wanted to share the cards that my downline Cathy made. She used some non-stamping up items (but I did too on the step card), but only has been with me for a little over a year. I have taken the liberty of putting my watermark on them as she does not have one made up yet. I want to work with her on getting one. Want to give her credit where credit is due!
Don't you just love the beachy Christmas? That is the cutest set! Thanks Cathy for all of your hard work helping all of us out using your amazing creativity!
Well, that is all for me today, so I can get this published and out to you all. Have a safe and fun Labor Day Weekend. Prayers are sent to any of our fellow demonstrators and all involved in the horrendous storms in Texas and Louisiana. Please know you are in our hearts and we care.
Be kind to one another and always try to find time to Create With Paper!
