Today, March 11th is the first day to sign up for the March Paper Pumpkin kit. SO COOL! It is cool and that is the name of it! It is a very cute kit with many spring colors and yummy pictures. Makes my mouth water looking at the promotion piece! Is your mouth watering yet?
The kit includes:
Enough supplies to make 12 fresh, fun-shaped cards with coordinating envelopes – a little taste of summer fun. Six of the card bases are popsicle shaped, the other six are semicircles: three watermelons and three rainbows.
It features vivid watercolor images, 2 full size matching sticker sheets, die-cut accents, fun embellishments and a versatile stamp set with sentiments you can use all year long.
It really is fun for all ages…make memories when you share the fun with kiddos and grandkiddos in your life. It’s a COOL way to share your crafting passion and engage them in their creative pursuits.
It coordinates with the exclusive ICE CREAM CORNER DESIGNER SERIES PAPER (#164567) from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. Combine the kit and paper for even more creative possibilities.
I was inspired this week to make a cute Thank You card. I wanted to use an older stamp that I had not used in awhile. Flipping through some of my saved photos on my phone, I found inspiration from Su Mohr. Her beautiful card was a sympathy card so I adapted and made my own.
I cut the Pear Pizzazz at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored it at 5 1/2. The Highland Heather piece is cut at 4 x 5 1/4 and attached at an angle to the base. Subtle 6×6 piece in Soft Sea Foam is cut at 3 3/4 x 5 and again, offset to your liking. I added the Square Vellum Doilie next. The Rose was stamped in Purple Posy and then Highland Heather. I took the outlining stamp from the set and stamped that in Highland Heather. The leaf stamp was used in Pear Pizzazz and both cut out from the Wild Rose Dies. I then cut out the word “thanks” from gold foil sheet with the Well Written dies. The gold hoop was attached by a thin line of glue to the front, and the rose and leaves were placed on dimensionals on top of the hoop. The “thanks” was then added with spots of glue. It really was a very easy card to make.
If you like the above card, just click on any of the “ingredients” to purchase from my store.
