Greetings my fellow spooks!
Before I start, I would like feedback if you are seeing this blog in whatever browser/device you pull it up on complete. I have had an issue with MY view cutting off my banner at the top of the blog. My hubby pulled up the site on several different browsers and devices and sees it just fine. So, if any of you are having the same issue as me, please, please, let me know! Thanks!
Just a slight change in blogging plans..somehow I managed to "sprain" my left knee. Now those who know me know that my knees aren't the best in town – looks or function. But they have been great to me for about 15 years now. No swelling, no pain – thought I had beat all of that. But what going up stairs had to do with it, I will never know, but WHACK – my knee was screaming bloody murder – as if I had fell on it or something. Getting progressively worse throughout the day on Monday, I finally had hubby escort me to ER. They took x-rays which of course revealed nothing – they never do…but determined it was sprained and if not better next week, well then we go on to something else. Never having a torn meniscus I don't know how that feels other than what people have described to me, thus my gut is telling me that is what it is…but, who am I? Certainly not a doctor. This set me up good though – I am forced to sit and put my leg up with ice and craft, craft, craft. Somebody up in Craft Heaven is telling me to get in and craft! So, I am going to listen.
First I wanted to share something that Stampin' Up! had, oh I would say in 2013 or 2014! I purchased this Halloween wreath kit and somehow it got put away (way away), and when I retrieved my Halloween craft crates, there it was, staring at me! Well, I finally decided to get it out of the crate and make it up! Here is how mine turned out! A bit cattywampus, but I think cute none the less.
Anyone know what year this came out??? The beaded spider really turned out pretty, but it is very hard to see! I may glue it on the white sentiment. Oh, btw, I didn't have the stamp set it called for in the directions, so used another retired stamp set.
So, being "stuck in my craft room", I started making up some Halloween cards, using my new goodies from the Holiday Catalog! The first two I am posting were shared on my 8/17 blog. But I just still get a kick out of them.
Searching Pinterest and all the wonderful, spooky shares on several Stampin' Up! demonstrators web sites, I made two cards and I made the goodie bag from ideas in the Holiday Catalog.
For the goodie bag, the only thing not Stampin' Up! was the gathered circle that the witch picture is on. That, my friends is a Cupcake holder! I just squished it into a smaller circle. I thought that was easier than making a folded circle medallion. Of course a medallion would look more tailored, but I like the Cupcake holder, plus I have a ton of different patterns and I will never make that many cupcakes – or god forbid I do, because I will eat them all!

Next, a simple Halloween card. Again, one thing not Stampin' Up! My moon was from another project I did using Washi Tape. I covered a piece of chipboard with random strips of Washi tape – all Halloween themed. Then I used it for a Cat die that I put on a project. With the leftover, I thought I would just punch my moon out strategically and carried the bat theme across the card. A quick note, the Washi Label Punch has retired – I hated to see it go because it is one of the few labels that fit most of the greetings in the Stampin' Up! stamp sets. Many are too small.

Last but not least, another card. But wait, not just another card but my favorite card type – A Slider Card! I am just hooked on these things. On this card, the pumpkin stickers and the ghost lounging on the pumpkin are not Stampin' Up!
Another note: I used Cucumber Crush, Pumpkin Pie, and Elegant Eggplant markers for the witch. They are now sold in packs.
Well, that is all for today! If you wish to purchase any of the items listed, make a list and send to me and I will place your order on a Thursday, September 1st.
