Greetings to ALL!
Yes, I have been laying low lately. Lots to do around Thanksgiving and before Christmas. Our days are spent mostly taking Fall/Halloween decor down, packing it up and putting back in the attic AND getting our Christmas decor out. We tend to go crazy with decorating our home – inside and out! I will post pictures as we go along. Dec 1 usually marks the "Turn on the outside lights" night, but Bill isn't quite finished yet, but we may celebrate tomorrow night and then just sneak in some more as the days go on.
So today, I am sharing a darling pop up fold card (I don't think that is the "official" name) that I have been seeing on several posts. I had to try and make one, although most of the instructions were a bit daunting…measure twice, cut once sort of things. I did find a very simple you tube by Maymay Made It. She figured out a simple way to make the mechanism that drives this interesting card. Here is my take on it!
Here is the inside!
I was so happy with the way it turned out. My next one is a snowman that Maymay designed – it is too cute and would be perfect for the Grandkids.
Here are the Stampin' Up! products I used: I also used colored pencils and have heard rumors about some "watercolor pencils" in the upcoming Occasions catalog! Woo Hoo!
Product List
Well, that is it for today. Tomorrow I will post some other projects I have been working on and let you all know about the latest Occasions catalog that comes out in January and Sale-A-Bration which is a way to get some Free product January through March! Remember, if you need a demonstrator, I am happy to assist and become your coach, counselor and share in the wonderful Stampin' Up! world. You get sneak peeks for all new upcoming catalogs and products – how great is that? Email me or click "Join Me" if you would like to join the Creating With Paper team.
