Happy Throw Back Thursday!

I am not going to throw anything back, but had to greet you all in some sort of cute way. (hmmm, emoji!).  First today, I wanted to show you my Daisy Tri Shutter Card.  I saw all sorts of these on Pinterest and You Tube, and followed Niki Ridges site Stampin' With Glittermum.  She did a couple Daisy cards, so thought that would be a good way to show the Daisy bundle to my group.  My biggest disappointment though was that the Punch to the bundle is back ordered until the end of June!  Aarrggh!  Oh well, several people have wanted it and are willing to wait until we can order again.  Niki's directions were pretty clear, except she didn't give too many measurements.  But I managed to CASE her card pretty close.

Here are all the supplies used for this card:

OOPS!  I forgot to include the Colorful Seasons Stamp for the sentiment!  So sorry – it is #143726 but it is part of a bundle (#145348) in the new Catalog.  Remember, bundles when available reduce the price 10%.

As complicated as this looks, it really wasn't.  Since I used my own measurements for the Designer Series Paper and Card Stock on the squares, I just measured each block and if there was a Card Stock background, I measured 1/4" less than the original square and if Designer Series Paper in addition, it was cut 1/4" less than the Card Stock background.  Likewise, if there was just Designer Series Paper on the square (okay, some are rectangles..geesh) that was measured 1/4" smaller than actual square measurement.

AND, for your enjoyment #5!  This had to be my absolute favorite sample card that I made.  For one thing, it matches our kitchen colors AND decor!  We have towels, canisters, pot holders and utensil jar with "happy chefs".  We also get a calendar every year and the pictures are just precious!  A huge shout out to Jackie Aitken of Jaxx Crafty Creations for the sample I got the inspiration from.  She did hers in all black and white, but as soon as I saw it I said "kitchen colors"…

If you would like to make these cards and need any of the supplies, just click on the picture and it will take you to my ordering site.  Share your creations, please!  All of us work so hard on our cards that if we inspire you to make one exact or similar, we always like to see them.  Just remember to give credit for your inspiration.  That is important for all of us!  I love having my creations CASE'd, but I also like to know that it was me who inspired you.  Most of my cards are NOT original designs of mine.  I don't have that much creativity in me, but when someone else has designed a card that I love and make, I make sure I give them credit.

If you do place an order on my site, be sure to use:
June 2017 hostess code
If you order more than $150.00, don't use this code – you will earn Stampin' Rewards that start at $15.00!!!

Well that is all for today; tune in tomorrow for a Wedding Card CASE'd pretty closely from who?  The Stampin' Up! 2017-18 Catalog!  I know several groups that have Catalog Case get togethers.  I think that is a pretty darn good idea!  I did that for our make and take!  Shhhh, don't tell anyone!  He He!

Until tomorrow, be kind to one another and make time for Creating With Paper!
