Greetings from the Masked Stamper! (Pun intended)

A surreal time for sure.  I feel like the Masked Singer, except not quite as good of singer as most of them are.  We have been watching that show for the first time this season, and find it a nice break from our usual news junkie days.  Yes, we are news junkies unfortunately at times, but at least we are informed (or I hope we are).

This post is just a reminder that the new Annual Catalog from Stampin' Up! is going live in June!  It is filled with new things and old things – not old per say, but you know what I mean…carry overs.  I find that nice so I don't feel so bad if I haven't used a stamp set from last years catalog.  I still have a chance to consider it "new" and not "retired".  Here is a picture of the cover…

New In Colors are coming too!  Yippee!  The inks will be available some time in late June I believe.  I will keep you all updated when they are available.  The In-Color paper is available and so are the ribbons.  Many of us demonstrators took advantage of a pre-order this month, and hopefully we didn't buy out everything in stock.  You know us, we get anxious and want to plan for events and give aways, so possibly buy out something very quickly.  Our bad…

I am featuring a couple cards that I CASE'd using the Ornate Garden Suite.  At first, it was a tad lacy and frilly for me, but I found that some have found the right combination to make them classy.  I love vintage, flowery looks, but too much pattern and lacy elements not so much.  So, I have to be picky about my cards and not get them too jumbly (is that a word? Ha).

The first card is CASE'd from Akiko Sudano.

The next is CASE'd from Julie Gilson…

Both have inspired me to do more with this Suite so Thank You Akiko and Julie.  It really is a gorgeous array of stamps, dies, ribbon, embossing folders, and embellishments.  If you would like to know what I used, let me know and I will send you a list of Stampin' Up! items used on both cards.

One other feature…Every Tuesday (except for the next two), Sharon Armstrong does a "Mystery Stamping" live.  It is a whole lot of fun because you just never know what the finished card will look like.  Everyone that participates picks out a different paper and card stock, and they all come out so fun!  Here is the last one I did…I was quite happy with the results!  It is a Z fold card.  Sharon's opened from the left, but I went rogue and made it open on the right.  I love going rogue!  Ha!

If you would like to get pre-orders, a discount on all items in the catalog, a chance to participate in the On Stage Virtuals (for awhile) please consider joining my team! The more the merrier.   I hold my Sunday Craftin' Gals Gatherings once a month (hopefully we will start up again in June or July) and we have a blast making cards, 3d items and I like to hold a Card Camp once in awhile.  If we are able to get together in June, I will be introducing the new catalog and showing off a few things.  Door prizes and other fun prizes are coming too!  Just click on Join the Fun at the top or the Join Me box on the side bar.

Well, that is all for today!  Please be kind to one another and stay safe, stay home!  At least those of you in California!  So, if you have time on your hands, wash them (:)), and make time for CREATING WITH PAPER!  See you next time!

Be kind to one another and make time for Creating With Paper.
