Bundle list retiring
Some of the best deals are in the bundles.  When you see the product numbers for what is listed as retiring bundles, don't fret!  The bundled savings is retiring, not necessarily the individual items.  Bundles can give you a 15% discount on the items rather than purchasing the stamp/die or die/punch as two separate products.  They are the best deal in town!

Also, don't forget ~ TODAY is the last day for the fabulous Weekly Deals!  They won't be back for a long time – well, probably several months.

For ALL of your purchases – retirement list and weekly deals – remember to use:

Square hostess Code_edited-1

I will be letting you know the May Hostess code so that you can continue to buy the retired products ~ if there is anything left!  They go like hotcakes – just sayin'!!!

I realize there is a lot of information here, so be patient, read everything and let me know if you are confused about anything.

That is all for now!  I am off to check the retirement list and buy, buy, buy!  Join me in getting some of the wonderful products that won't be around after May 31st.  You might just need these products so that you can have wonderful days "Creating With Paper"!

Be kind to one another and make time for Creating With Paper.

What a Fun Week!

Happy Tax Day?  Can April 15th ever be a Happy Day?  Well…

I decided a while back that I needed to experiment with more of my stamps, dies and use up some paper before I do any more purchasing!  HA!  I know, I know that is laughable you say!  Wholly agree!  BUT, I have been looking at stamps that I have had and dies that I purchased and low and behold, they hit my creative brain! Finally!

Today, I want to share with you just a few of the projects that I had a blast with.  Have to add – the Botanical Builder Framelits from Stampin' Up! has quickly become a favorite of mine.  When it first came out, all the elements of the Botanical Blooms series – the paper, the embellishments, the stamps and die – they didn't appeal to me.  Why?  I don't know.  It took awhile, but they have really grown on me.  Perhaps seeing all of the beautiful examples on Pinterest, and samples from groups that I am a member of made me see the beauty that was hidden.

So, here are my projects so far for the week and the products used..

On this card, I used a Crystal Effects technique that Dawn Griffith from Dawns Stamping Thoughts  had on a You Tube tutorial…

Teeny Tiny Basket
The basket die is not a Stampin' Up! die but a Sizzix die.  Also, the poor basket wouldn't stand up for my picture..too tired I guess. Designer Paper is a couple years old, so not available.

Drapery Fold Card.  I saw this technique on Pinterest and it looked pretty, so I thought I would give it a try.  Gwen Edelman of Create with Gwen has an excellent You tube video on the process.  The Designer Series Paper is Gold Soiree and I don't believe it is available any longer.  So sorry, but I am trying to use up some of my Stampin' Up! papers.  The Glitter tape came in a bundle with White and Silver and I am sorry to say that is not available any longer either.  They should consider bringing some of these things back, I think…maybe in the New Catalog???
