Happy Weekly Deal Tuesday, Friends!
I am in such awe of how many "DEALS" Stampin' Up! has for you this week, the very last week 😟 of the fabulous deals. We are so sorry to see them go, but you will be surprised as to how many there are for you to take advantage of! Like I said last week, I am going to take advantage of some of them, too!
May I offer a recommendation to you all? There are seven die sets offered, and if you have access to a die cutting machine – Big Shot (#113439) you must get at least three of these. Even if you don't have a cutting machine, come over to my house and I will let you use mine and I may be able to talk you into buying one for yourself. They are essential! The three that I think are basic to some great creative projects are the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, the Baker's Box Thinlits and the Star Framelits Set. I have used all three of these for so many projects it is uncanny! Not to make the other die sets any less useable or beautiful, but the three I mentioned are so basic.
Take a look at all that are offered this week. It is a LONG list, so go slowly and take advantage of the discount!

Today, I am experimenting with the Rose Garden Thinlits Die and a technique that I found on Pinterest from fellow Demonstrator Dawn Griffith of Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. She used Stampin' Up!'s Crystal Effects and it turned out gorgeous! Yesterday while working with the Swallowtail Stamp, I pulled out the Crystal Effects and thought – I have never, ever used this product! Since I wasn't sure how it was used, I went to my old favorite "Glamour Dust" which is a paint that just gives a sheen like on many vintage cards you see. In the picture, you can't really see the shimmer, but believe me it is there.

Hello my Paper Peeps!
There is some news to share about what is upcoming in the couple months ahead at Stampin' Up!, so I wanted to let you all in on it. But first, how was everyone's weekend? Mine was quiet, although I did get some paper crafting done. I did 3 challenge cards (wwhhhaaattt??) and one general card that I saw on Pinterest. Come to find out, one of my fellow demonstrators did the same idea – hers was so pretty and done different! That is what is nice about Pinterest and groups that share ideas. You can run in many creative directions with the ideas and really make some lovely cards, tags or banners!
Now, what is happening in the next couple of months? Well…
First of all, it is nearing the end of the 2015-2016 catalog year. May 31st is the last day to order from the existing "annual" catalog, and the latest Occasions Catalog. There will be a retired list (products that will be retired and no longer available after May 31st) that will be put out by Stampin' Up! on or around the 18th of April. I will let you all know what items are on that list if you are interested in purchasing any of them. They aren't discounted, but just think, if you don't get the item, well, as they say – snooze you lose!

Greetings this fine Tuesday!
So, what is so special about Tuesdays? It's not Hump Day! It's not Throwback Day (although if you want it to be it could be..). It is Taco Tuesday, but more importantly it is WEEKLY DEAL TUESDAY from Stampin' Up! Just click on the Weekly Deals in the upper banner on my blog and it takes you directly to the Deals of the Century! Well, maybe not the Century, but the Week! You may notice that there are only TWO weeks left to take advantage of the Weekly Deals.
The reason Stampin' Up! started doing Weekly Deals was because of a surplus of inventory on some products. Now that they have reduced excess inventory, the variety that they offer has decreased. With this in mind, they have decided to go another route. The Weekly Deal will be replaced with "Special Offers" that will occur every few months as their inventory will allow.
I strongly encourage you to take full advantage of these reduced prices. When you place an order through my site, use the Hostess code listed in the box. This code is good for the entire month of April.
Wondering what a "Hostess Code" is? How do you use it? Here is the secret! A Stampin' Up! Hostess Code is a way for a demonstrator or Host of a party to keep track of orders. It allows for customers to place orders online for a particular event and the Host will get full credit for their order. In this case, as a demonstrator, I provide a Hostess Code to be used mainly so I can track your orders and at the end of the month, I like to "reward" all of my customers with a Hostess gift! The gifts can be worth quite a bit, so use it or lose it!
To use the code, click on the banner button "Shop Now" at the top or the Sidebar button "Let's Shop". This takes you to my personal Stampin' Up! online ordering page. Go to the left side and Sign In if you have shopped on line with me before. Or, Create An Account to start shopping with me! I would immediately go to the Weekly Deals on the left side and see if you want any of those items. Click on an item (for example, Glassine Bags). When it brings up all the details of the item, click on "add to bag". It gives you the option of "Continue to Shop" or "View Shopping Bag". If you are ready to check out, click on View Shopping Bag and on the detail page, you will see a box in the lower left corner that says "Do you have a host code? Enter it here and click Apply". This is where you want to enter the April Hostess Code showing in the box above. Continue with your checkout with the payment and shipping page and voila'! Your order will be placed and you will receive it usually within 2-3 business days. Any questions, please don't hesitate to call me or email me. I will be happy to assist. I would love for some of my previous customers to take advantage of these last two weeks of the Weekly Deals! Don't pass them up as they may be gone for good!
