Hey There, Hi There!
Hope all of you Moms out there had an absolutely fabulous day! As a Grandmother of three little lovelies, I did!
We took a much needed break – had the Granddaughters and family down for 5 days, and then hubby and I took off and went to Las Vegas to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. We had so much fun those two weeks. Got to have Spa day with all the girls and women of the family, visited the Safari Park in Escondido – formerly San Diego Wild Animal Park, got to play games with the girls – oh my gosh, we were having an absolute blast!
As they drove off, we left for the airport for our 4 day stint in the fine city of Las Vegas. We took a helicopter ride that took us over Red Rock Canyon and then back over the Strip. We did the VooDoo Zip Line at The Rio Hotel (that is where we stayed), had a fabulous dinner at the VooDoo Steak House, visited Madame Tussaud's wax museum, went to TI, Venetian, Palazzo, Gold Coast, The Palms, and a couple other hotel/casino's. All in all, we had a super time.
Now, back to the normalcy of life, right? First order of business is a bit of Stampin' Up! updates for you. The new 2016-2017 catalog is OUT! Yippee Skippee! It is awesome. BUT, unless you are a demonstrator (which is easy to be – just click on "Join Me") you won't be able to see it until June 1st! Here is a sneak peak of the front cover though!
There are 212 pages – it by far is the largest catalog ever for Stampin' Up. The 2016-2018 colors are just absolutely fabby! Delicious names for them too! So many new stamps and papers!
The Retired List of Products is still active until May 31, 2016. To spark your memory, Click on Here to view products online. Some of the products are already out of stock, but hopefully the ones you want will still be available! Plus, remember to use the Hostess Code to qualify for a free gift at the end of May! This code is good for any orders you place on my site through May 31st!
Now, here is a project I did today for a wonderful Stampin' Up! group I belong to..it was our weekly challenge, and since I hadn't been participating for about three weeks, I thought I better do one. I didn't have time to "stage" the picture, and I am afraid that many of the items used are retired. So sorry about that, but I wanted to use up some of my older DSP so that I can make room for new things! Can't wait to get those new products!
It doesn't show up well, but the "Congrats" is embossed in SU's Gold Embossing Powder. I did have fun using some glam papers.
Well, that is all for now! Please, if you have questions or comments do not hesitate to email me or comment – good or bad – I want to hear from you! I hope you have a wonderful week and remember to make time for "Creating With Paper!"
