Greetings!
I know you are probably all thinking – Patriotic? Whaatt? It is early, yes, but as crafters we have to be "ahead" of the holidays in order to get everything done we want to get done! Don't you agree?
So, lately, in my classes at Michael's we have been engulfed in Patriotic projects and I must say everyone's is turning out absolutely lovely! Here is a photo of my "works in progress".
The three oval vignettes will become a tabletop banner and the wooden star is one of a pair that will hang or be placed on our mantel. Must give kudos and thanks to my fellow demonstrator, Cathy Gillick, for inspiration and teaching us so many wonderful techniques to use on cards and 3d projects. I am finishing up a "Straw Wreath" as in drinking straws, not hay straw. I will post that as soon as it is done.
