I would have said raindrops falling on my head, but I am staying safe and dry inside today! I will admit that I am loving our rain this year. We have been fortunate to have 2-3 days of sun in between each of our storms, which really helps dry Southern California. It allows our hills to soak the rain in rather than letting it sweep down the hills and cause real problems. So far we have been lucky! (Knocking on wood).
On to some cards I have been working on. I try and keep up with some challenges that are posed in a couple groups I am in, and have to admit, sometimes it is a tad difficult. Since we were working our little (?) bottoms off this past weekend to get our house back to normal after the Holidays, I had to cram a couple in yesterday. Yikes! But here they are!
The first one is a "weekly challenge". Every Friday, my upline, Connie Stewart, gives us a Weekend challenge. I hope to do more this year…
Next, Connie Stewart and her peers are giving us a new challenge each week in January to try a new technique! The first technique was "Joseph's Coat". Well, being so busy last week, I didn't get to it, but finally experimented with it today. I think the next time I do this technique I will use lighter colors as the base. I found my colors to be a bit dark, but I like the way it turned out for my first attempt!
If you wish to try the above cards yourself, just click on any of the supplies and you can order them from my online store and don't forget to use the

Well, that is all for me today…tomorrow I will catch up some more and show you "this weeks" technique challenge. Until then, keep dry, be kind to one another and make time for "Creating With Paper"!

Just a quick post to send health, happiness and lots o' stamping for the coming year. 2016 proved to be quite a year – not so good for some, but there is always hope for a brighter future (fingers crossed).
Here is my last project of 2016 and it is going to be our project for tomorrow as we celebrate with a brunch and relaxation!
I am so sorry I can not identify the person who originally did these in early August, but if you are out there, thank you for the idea!!! I ordered the little champagne bottles from Jelly Belly and they have Champagne flavored bellies in them. Too cute! I had to adapt the thinlit a bit as the hole was way too large for these mini's.
Well, as I said, it is a quick post, but I would like to THANK everyone who has supported my new blogging adventure and I am encouraged to do more next year. Realizing that it takes quite a bit of time, I have to admit I wasn't as diligent as I had hoped to be, but again, thanks for the support. Here is to a FABULOUS 2017. Please, my friends, stay safe and have fun. I want to see each and every one of you again next year!
